This is a school program designed for pre-primary and primary students (from Primary 1 to Primary 6), open for adoption by any school interested in the program.
The primary goal of this initiative is to cultivate respect, responsible device handling, and ethical internet behavior among young boys and girls. Additionally, it aims to empower parents with effective controls over their children’s internet usage and device management.
Furthermore, the program intends to equip our children with essential skills for utilizing various devices such as computers, phones, tablets, and the internet safely. Specialized skills, including coding (programming), photo and video editing, and social media management, will be made available for children who express interest.
It’s noteworthy that this program is thoughtfully crafted and implemented by the Mmamba Multimedia team, ensuring a comprehensive and engaging approach to device and internet hygiene education
How the Program is Implemented:
The program adopts a learner-centered approach, with 70% of the emphasis placed on the learners themselves. The learning facilitator’s role encompasses only 30%, serving as a guide to encourage discovery and address questions. This intentional design allows learners the space to explore, fostering a broader and more engaging learning experience.
The program operates on a termly basis at all levels and incorporates both practical and oral assessments. Mmamba Multimedia is committed to providing all necessary learning equipment, including mobile phones, computers, tablets, and internet connectivity. The organization or school is expected to furnish the workspace and power infrastructure.
Each participating learner in the program is required to contribute a monthly fee of five thousand shillings (5000) or fifteen thousand shillings (15000) per term. Negotiations regarding payment terms are open for discussion with schools and organizations.
