Mubiru SACCO Rules, Terms of Borrowing & Saving:

    • To participate in borrowing and saving activities, individuals must be registered members of Mubiru SACCO.

    • Loans will be exclusively extended to working members, those with established businesses, and individuals embarking on entrepreneurial ventures.
  3. Loan Approval Process:
    • Loan requests must receive approval from the Chairman or Vice Chairman of Mubiru SACCO.
  4. Loan Limits and Guarantors:
    • Initial loan amounts are capped at 300,000 shs per member. Loans exceeding this limit require a grantor, who must also be a SACCO member.
  5. Borrowing Interest:
    • A borrowing interest of 5% per month will apply to all loans extended by Mubiru SACCO.
  6. Flexible Saving Options:
    • Members are encouraged to save regularly with Mubiru SACCO, with the flexibility to deposit any amount. Members can access their savings at any time.
  7. Shared Documentation:
    • All deposit and withdrawal receipts will be shared within the family group, ensuring transparency and accountability.
  8. Consequences of Loan Default:
    • Failure to repay a loan will result in the suspension of further borrowing privileges for the member. Additionally, the grantor will be ineligible for loans until the outstanding amount is recovered by the SACCO.
  9. Loan Repayment Channels:
    • All loan repayments must be made through either a designated bank account or directly to the Treasurer or Assistant Treasurer of Mubiru SACCO.
